Can I Firm My Facial Skin?

Skin is just something you really didn’t care about when you were younger. You had no fear of the sun and certainly didn’t wear sunscreen!. You just faced your daily life without a care in the world. No one told you about droopy eyelids, sagging jowls and forehead wrinkles. If they did tell you, you weren’t listening very closely.

You may have spent quite a bit of time in the gym burning body fat, but who knew one day you’d actually be researching how to burn facial fat? In those early years it just wasn’t an issue.

Yes, I know that hindsight is 20-20 and I know you don’t want to hear that right now. Facial fat, lines and wrinkles are conditions that just gradually appear. We all remember the day we took a really close look (maybe magnified) in the mirror and were astounded at what was looking back! An old face.

However, we’re all different and suffer from different issues at different times in our lives. For you it might be dark circles, wrinkles, bags under your eyes. For someone else it could be the sagging neckline, the wrinkles at the side of the mouth, jowls, forehead lines. The truth is when you lack certain essential nutrients, along with aging process, you begin to look old.

There are things you can do to enhance the appearance of your skin. However you must dedicate yourself to taking care of your skin. Your skin can come alive again and you can look and feel great. You just need to educate yourself and remember that you are not alone.

There are so many things to consider before cosmetic surgery and botox. Surgery should be a last resort even if you can afford it and are willing to take the risks. Facial exercises burn facial fat and strengthen the muscles beneath your face. It’s an inexpensive process that takes a few weeks of your time and your consistent use of a facial regimen.

So, if you truly want to achieve firmer looking skin and learn how to look 40 at 60, I suggest you visit John Socratus at the Face Fitness Center. At the very least, you’ll learn more about what to look for and what to avoid when it comes to taking care of your precious skin.

Eye Care – Tip Of The Day

While you burn facial fat through facial exercise it wouldn’t hurt to give those eyes a little extra attention. After staring into a computer all day and braving the elements, you eyes can really become exhausted. I know I can get the raccoon look if I don’t give that delicate eye area some love.

I don’t know a woman or man alive who can stand those puffy little  bags we get under our eyes.  While deciding what to share in this post I remembered a little accident I had as a child that gave me a whole new respect for the almighty white potato.

The family was vacationing in southern New Jersey (Ocean Grove) and while riding my bike I had a head on collision with another cyclist while turning a corner. The outcome for me was 2 large completely black eyes the next morning and a bruised ego.

My uncle grated a raw white potato, spread it on two cotton rounds, placed each round over my eyes and tied a large handkerchief around my head to hold them in place. I slept with this potato mask throughout the night and to my amazement the next morning all the bruised blood that was beneath my eyes was on the potato rounds. My natural skin tone was visible once again. Even the swelling had diminished.

Raw potato slices will help tighten baggy, puffy eyes. All you need is a potato, a knife or a grater

To Make:

1. Slice (thinly)  or grate 1/2 a white potato.
2. If slices, place slices evenly over each eye. If grated, place on cosmetic cotton rounds (found in the drugstore beauty section)

To Use:

1. Spritz eye area with water.
2. Lying down, place the potato slices/or grated potatoes on your closed eyelids and leave in place for at least 20 minutes for best results. Remove potato, rinse with cool water, apply toner and moisturize.

Lose Facial Fat and Look More Vibrant

It may be hard to believe but job seekers are reporting age discrimination beginning as early as the mid-thirties. By the time you reach your forties, you can be considered washed up in some industries. You might want to take a good look in the mirror and see how well you’ve aged (or not)! It may be time to make some changes.

There are so many baby boomers who got blind-sided with lay-offs when the economy started to flat-line. Even if they didn’t feel secure in their positions they didn’t think they would be faced with interviewing for a job at 55+  years of age! What a scary thought.

Being old is not revered in the USA as it is in some other countries. The anti-aging industry is booming because of people who are trying to feel vibrant so they can work longer, look younger and not be put out to pasture just because they are perceived as old.

If you haven’t been taking care of yourself you’d better get started. If you’re not ready to retire and are looking for employment, the last thing you want to have to contend with is looking old. You’re never too old to burn facial fat and body fat, you just have to get started.

It might be time to consider, how to get rid of face fat. Being overweight, with sagging jowls and puffy under eye bags is not a very good look for anyone. By 2018, the number of employees over 55 will reach 39 million, compared to 27 million in 2008.

More older workers are considering postponing retirement because of the down economy. Some will be discriminated against because of their appearance and you don’t want to be one of them. It’s a good idea to review your eating habits and the portions you consume.

As you approach your golden years you may want to consider some alternative methods of facial rejuvenation along with a diet rich in antioxidants and fiber. These are merely habits you can acquire to remain looking as good as possible.

Double Chin-Facial Exercise Program

Complaints! Do they ever stop? My face is beginning to sag! I’m too fat! My feet are too big! My face has broken out! I have three chins! My face is too fat! Stop beating yourself up and do something about it. Don’t let procrastination stop you from taking that first step to make a change.

Help My Face!

We all hold the power to change some of the very things we complain about. Truth is it’s all about taking the first step and sticking to a schedule or program

In my estimation, needles are for sewing garments and I’m okay with that. I really don’t want liquid fat injected into my forehead, at least not while I’m alive.

My skin is my shield and I’d like to keep it attractive and healthy for as long as it protects me. So for me, chemicals and surgery are not the first things that come to mind. I had to re-think some things about how to remain attractive as I aged. It didn’t have to be difficult, just different.

If you have been living with facial fat or a double chin there is a non-surgical program you may want to consider. The initial step in learning to burn facial is a lifestyle change. This is usually the hardest part for most people to deal with. Most people are resistant to change.

As we age, most of us will begin to see the effects of gravity (especially in the facial areas) and will be at the crossroads of aging horribly or aging gracefully. Its a choice we all have to make.

The average working person (even before the 2011 economy) could not afford to have facial cosmetic surgery and medical insurance supplied by the employer would  certainly not pay for such vanity.

John Socratous, a former model, released an affordable program in 2006 that is specially focused on fighting facial fat in the chin, cheek and neck areas. It is called the Face Fitness Formula.

His Face Fitness Formula is a comprehensive diet and facial exercise program that has received great testimonials and good reviews from satisfied customers.

Burn Facial Fat – Facial Isometrics

As we all know, the face is one of the most important aspects of our personal appearance. For the most part, it is the first thing another person will notice about you.

Chubby cheeks and a double-chins are simply unattractive and make you self conscious about your appearance. These could result from small fat deposits around your face OR an even bigger problem….being overweight! Regardless of where the problem lies, please stop kidding yourself about “spot reduction”. It’s just not realistic and it isn’t true. Spot reduction is only achieved through liposuction and other surgical methods. The only proven safe method method to burn facial fat is (you guessed it) diet and exercise. Contouring that profile can be accomplished with a little additional effort on your part.

A good jump off point would begin with sensible meal planning. Keep that diet high in fiber, low in calories and increase the fruits and vegetables. As I’m sure we’ve all heard, 30 minutes per day of cardio to burn overall fat ( not just burn facial fat) is another necessary routine.

Last, but not least, are the addition of facial exercises, which target those facial muscles that don’t usually move unless we eat or talk. Incorporating facial gymnastics can really help to tone and uplift the face naturally. Especially when we move them with intention. Did you know we had so many muscles in our faces? Well I didn’t. Click on the image of the guy below to see what really lies beneath the surface of the skin. I can already think of a couple of faces I could make to start stretching these muscles, but they wouldn’t be pretty, trust me!

I searched around to find a few facial exercises I could try out. I was quite surprised how I felt the burn in my face the next day. It made me realize that the muscle had really been worked. When things make sense to me, it keeps me motivated. Click here and take a quick look at this video…..and see if you could work this into your day. Do 2 sets of this exercise and see where you feel it the next day!
